The Flying W Diamond Ranch is owned by Ed & Meredith Tinsley, and has continuously been owned and operated by the Tinsley family for more than
sixty-two years.
The ranch is located just north of Capitan, New Mexico in the foothills and shadows of the Capitan Mountain Range. The terrain and altitudes range from 6,000 to 10,000 feet in elevation, encompassing rolling hills, steep mountain sides and Ponderosa pines.
This environment is an important factor in the conditions of our calves, building strong muscle, good feet, correct bone structure and overall conformation of our calves. Our philosophy is committed to raising the best Registered Black Angus cattle, specifically Colorado, Arizona, and West Texas.
Our focus on genetics produces EPD's that yield great results for our customers, combining low Birth Weights and high Calving Ease, with Strong Weaning and Yearling Weights, as well as High Dollar Beef and good Carcass Qualities.
